Experiential Design - Final Project: Complete Experience (incomplete)
09 Nov 2023 - 30 Nov 2023 (Week 11 - Week 14)
Creating a virtual space in Blender and moving it to Unity had some tricky parts. One big issue was when the virtual space from Blender didn't export properly to Unity. The materials didn't come along, making everything look all white and too bright. It showed me how important it is for things to smoothly work together.
Another tough thing was the icon-links. Even after trying many times and checking the script in Unity, they just didn't want to work. This taught me that writing and fixing scripts need careful attention.
Looking back, I see ways to make things better with more time. Adding a 360-degree view would let users explore the space from every angle, making it more fun. This could attract more professionals like architects and designers to use the app.
Saving the virtual space without scanning the card again would make things easier for users. Also, letting people choose if they want to be a creator or just explore adds more options for everyone.
Creators should get more tools too. They could design with ready-made furniture or upload their own stuff like textures and 3D models. Adding a chat and tracking how much people like the space could help creators and users make deals and connect better.
In the end, even with the tough parts, I learned a lot. If we keep working on it and add these ideas, the app could become a useful tool for designers and creators.

Final Project: Complete Experience
For this project, we are require to synthesise the knowledge gained in task 1, 2 and 3 for application in task 4. We need to create integrate visual asset and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional product experience. Below is my progressions of building and setting up my prototype, transforming it into a fully functional and polished product experience. Progression

Feedback
Week 14
- Icons all are tumbled in a tiny panel hence make it unworkable
- LINK - unwanted codes
- Advise to build the vertical space in Unity
- Need to import the materials along with the FBX file of the virtual space from blender
- The zooming effect for the virtual space is unnecessary now, given that it is presented in an isometric view
