Experience
Throughout the course of these three assignments, I have embarked on a transformative journey as a student designer, facing various challenges and gaining valuable insights into the world of typography and branding. In the first assignment, I experienced both enjoyment and frustration, finding pleasure in exploring graphic and branding work while struggling with the task of creating a word mark or logo that truly represented my vision. The rejection of my proposals taught me the importance of pushing forward and seeking assistance when needed.Observation
In the second assignment, I observed the common tendency among designers to overlook the purpose and direction of their brands. This realization led me to understand the significance of having a clear concept and written direction to convey a compelling message to the public. The guidance I received from a fellow student and the looming deadline motivated me to push my boundaries and achieve a sense of contentment with my progress. The third assignment tested my skills and resilience, exposing challenges such as time management, procrastination, and a lack of feedback. These obstacles emphasized the need for discipline, organization, and seeking constructive criticism to improve typographic design. The inconsistency in my font designs highlighted the importance of meticulous attention to detail and a holistic approach.

Simplicity in design can often be more powerful than complexity, prioritizing the intention of the brand and fostering connections with the audience. Time management and organization are vital to overcome confusion and procrastination, ensuring consistent progress and high-quality outcomes. Seeking feedback and engaging in a feedback loop is crucial for growth and improvement as a designer.Moving forward, as I reflect on these assignments, I recognize the importance of discipline, dedication, and genuine interest in typography design. Moving forward, I will prioritize thorough research, cultivate a passion for the subject matter, and seek constructive feedback to refine my skills and produce exceptional typographic designs. These lessons learned will guide me towards becoming a more effective and successful professional in the world of designing.
