REFLECTION
  • What have I learnt in this module?
From what I've learnt from this module, definitely is to create by purpose and being observant to our surroundings. Besides, I also learn to apply what we have learned from the beginning of this module such as elements and principles of design to every of our exercises and projects such as Rule of Thirds.
  • What did I enjoy the most?
I enjoyed the most when conducting this module definitely would be listening to any music while I am creating. I like then spending my whole day on completing the exercises and projects. This subject give me an excuse to temporary skip on completing other complicated modules without affecting the entire progress. Besides, I like when doing Project 1: Self-Portrait. This is due that I received a lot compliment from Dr. Yip, thus I feel energetic and delighted to continue working hard on the coming projects.
  • What did I not enjoy the most?
I did not enjoy is when we required to create designs for each design principles. As this is my first time forcing to create and design, thus I have totally no idea on how and what to express in my design in the meantime show the design principles in my design.
  • What have I learnt about myself through this module?
I have learn to apply different design principles to my design in order to make it more attractive. Besides, this module have enhance my critical thinking skills as we are require to brainstorm different possibilities for the projects.
  • What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
I think I have learn to express and spending my time on creating. As compared to my past, I would have give up however, through the encouragement and well guidance from Dr. Yip and my peers, I started to like to draw. Other than that, during my learning in this module allows me to reach out for different possibilities in creating a design and also allow me to try on different method and techniques to achieve different outcomes.

What was not change is definitely the skills to draw an individuals and objects in 3D. Through the entire module, the one think that doesn't changed is I use image that I can obtain from the Internet then outline the object in order me to create my artwork.
  • What could be improved in this module?
In my opinion, although it really gives me some hard to complete the tasks/ projects, however I think the learning plan is alright for me as I have access to some senior's works and I think our learning plan is simplify compared to what our seniors have been through.
