Lecture

Double Exposure

Mr Fauzi has taught us double exposure and image blending mode. He explained and further illustrated on the meaning and the usefulness of the double exposure. I had learned that double exposure referring to the merging of multiple images, then blend mode - multiply or darken to achieve specific results. In addition to that, the range of blend modes are provided in the lecture note, so it is convenient for us to refer in the future. In addition, I also learned that by combing several images together, we can make simple objects look fascinating, as we can edit the image into something more attractive and less boring.

Tutorial

During tutorial, we were brief on this project and we are requested to submit it on Sunday. First, to have the basic knowledge and skills on doing the project, we downloaded images included in the slides then,(Exercise 1) follow the tutorial video demonstrated by Mr. Martin to teach us on the steps to create an image with double exposure.

Practical

Project 2B: Double Exposure 
Exercise 2: My Version of Double Exposure

In this exercise, we are require to select one of our self portrait then apply double exposure to it. Along with this, it will be included both exercise will be included as one portion of our Project 2: Digital Imaging Exercises & Product Shooting. 

For this exercise, I had chose an Aurora Borealis image from browser and applying the same steps that I learned from Exercise 1: Tutorial.
