Rule of Thirds
- is the process of dividing an image into thirds, using two horizontal and two vertical lines

Figure 1.6 - Applying Rule of Thirds in artwork. (by draw paint academy) |
- The Rule of Thirds is a way to:
- Use composition techniques that are in line with what's naturally pleasing to the eye.
- Creatively use negative space.
- Create conversation between the subject and background.
Golden Ratio
- The golden ratio, approximately between 1 to 1.618, is an extremely important number to mathematicians. But when it comes to art, artists use this golden ratio because it is aesthetically pleasing. The golden ratio can be used in art and design to achieve beauty, balance, and harmony (Payal Tailor, 2021)
- It is commonly found in nature, and when used in design. it fosters organic and natural-looking compositions that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

understand the concept better.

Practical
Collage Design Elements
During practical class, we are ask to start on several compositing of collage,
Mr. Fauzi suggested us not to paste anything without a few times of
arrangement because he want us to have a comparison with each design, this
allow us to combine and improve our creativities and make the collage looks
more attractive.
As we were encouraged to attempt a few more times, thus we are required to
take a photo for each arrangement then Mr. Fauzi will discuss on the final
composition tie us in Week 3.

Concept:
In this collage, I try to make it simple as this is my first time doing
collage. When I looked through my materials, I found that there are some
related elements, which are related to the late fashion designer - Virgil
Abloh and the biggest designer house - Louis Vuitton . Thus, I tried to
stack and arrange them and got my first pre-composition. It was hard for
me to make my first pre-composition as the materials I got are of the same
tone and I am not sensitive to colour.
